UNIFY is held in a town called Tarwin Lower, which is in South Gippsland, about two hours South-East of Melbourne. The drive down is beautiful and extremely easy to find.
Yes, you can bring your own drinks into the campsite area but not into the arena. Due to licencing, alcohol cannot be taken into or out of the arena area.
We have awesome bars serving beer, wine, spirits and cocktails to keep you hydrated.

UNIFY Gathering organisers are working closely with the DHHS, Government Agencies, and Emergency Services to plan and operate a Covid free event within the Public Events Framework. Of course, in the current climate, it’s important to have contingency plans in place. To that end, UNIFY has already set aside a backup weekend of Thursday 10 March to Sunday 13 March 2022 should the January dates need to reschedule. Mark both weekends in your calendar now!
No camping in the car park. Security will be patrolling the car park day and night to move anyone into the campsite that is trying to set up next to their vehicle.
As above, Security will be patrolling the carpark day and night to move anyone into the campsite that is trying to set up camp in the carpark. If you have a Campervan you’d like to camp in, you must purchase a campervan pass and camp within the designated caravan park within the UNIFY site.
You can move between the campground and the car park during daylight hours ONLY (between 8 am to 8 pm). After sunset, you must remain in the campground/arena areas. If visiting your vehicle, the car must stay stationary until the conclusion of the event. Anyone re-entering the gates will be thoroughly searched for prohibited items.
If you’d like to trade as a Market Stall at UNIFY Gathering, you can apply HERE.
We encourage all interested vendors to apply, however; please note that we receive a huge volume of applicants and spaces are extremely limited. Vendors who have traded on the festival site are given first priority due to long-standing relationships.
Applications close on Sunday 31 October 2021.
Should you have any questions about the process, please contact us here.
Only those that have pre-registered with [email protected] and proven they have local accommodation (proof of address or accommodation booking confirmation) can leave the site after 8 pm. See CAN I LEAVE ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY NIGHT? for more details on staying locally.
If you are camping onsite, once you enter the festival, no pass-outs are available. Your vehicle must stay stationary until the conclusion of the event. If you decide to leave the event early you will not be allowed to re-enter. Make sure you bring what you need for a weekend away. With all the awesome music going on at UNIFY we’re confident you won’t want to leave anyway!
If you wish to stay locally you are required to submit proof of accommodation along with photo ID for each person wishing to stay off-site to [email protected] to be added to the ‘staying local’ list.
To allow you to leave the car park you must visit the ‘corner store’ to have your name checked off the ‘staying local’ list. You will receive a pass-out wristband to show security or staff when leaving or re-entering. This pass-out will allow you to leave Friday and/or Saturday nights and re-enter the following day.
Yes, UNIFY is a Camping Festival. Camping is free, and you have a couple of options when it comes to what you need to bring. If a more traditional camping experience is what you prefer, you can bring your tent, sleeping bag and all the rest and set up on site. Camping slots are not pre-booked or purchased. There is plenty of room though so once you arrive on site you can find a spot to set up your camp and you’ll be good to go.
Yes, all attendees will need to be fully vaccinated, (or have a government issued exemption) in line with government restrictions. Patron safety is our #1 priority, and so in accordance with the Victorian Roadmap, we will have a range of COVID-safe measures in place. We’ll continue to plan for a festival in this new world, whilst also wanting to make sure it looks and feels like the UNIFY we all love.
Festival organisers work very closely with council, agencies and emergency services all year to ensure the delivery of the safest festival. A POPE (permit) will not be issued for the event if a Severe Weather / Code Red Day is predicted or declared. In this instance, the event will not go ahead.
Yes! We have accessible toilets both in both the campsite and in the arena. The arena toilet will be located alongside the other toilets near the main entrance archway, and the ‘Campsite’ toilet is located within the designated camping area near Vollie HQ. (Please speak to our friendly staff or security for access and assistance.)
If traditional camping isn’t really your style –check out our Nottingham camping upgrades. This festival suburb has been designed with only the finest camping options. Choose from a number of different options, all with exclusive access to private toilets, top up stations and close to the arena gates.
We ask of our volunteers to complete a minimum of 2 x 5 hour shifts in exchange for a festival ticket. If you’d like to attend the Thursday pre-party, you will be required to volunteer 3 x 5-hour shifts.
Unless you wish to book a pre-pitched camping package the yes, UNIFY Gathering is a BYO camping event. We recommend packing a tent, mat, pillow, sleeping bag etc. Volunteers have access to the general camping area of the site as well as a separate crew camping area.
Once you have been confirmed and you’ve submitted your Volunteer Agreement you are locked in as a UNIFY Volunteer. You will receive a festival ticket via email, specific to volunteering. When you arrive at the festival let the staff know you are volunteering and proceed to the entry gates. Look out for the specific VOLUNTEER ENTRY LANE where you will get signed in and accredited with your festival wrist band.
Roster release takes place mid-December, ongoing until all positions have been filled.
All position descriptions and arrival procedures will be made available at this time.
We’ve done our best to consider your availability submitted at the time of application. Your allocated shifts are based on the needs of the event. If your availability has changed, please email Volunteer Support at [email protected]
It is advised you aim to be onsite a minimum of 2 hours prior to your first volunteer shift, this way you have lots of time to park your vehicle, get your wrist band, and set up camp.
If your first shift starts prior to gates opening, Volunteer Support will send out early entry volunteer instructions closer to the event.
There are limited opportunities to volunteer before and after the festival. In the case, you are assigned shifts outside of the festival’s official opening and closing you will be issued early entry instructions. Otherwise, you will be required to arrive and depart the festival within its opening and closing times.
You will be provided with appropriate PPE, which is to be worn throughout and returned at the end of your shift. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Be practical and sensible when packing for the festival. Look ahead at the forecast, bring warm clothing, layering items, water-proof items, hat & sunnies, a torch, snacks, water bottle etc.
We love volunteers that are accountable, communicative, fun and easy-going and who love working as a team! Remember to ensure you pack appropriate attire for all weather conditions, a sun-smart hat, water bottle, torch and closed-toe shoes. You’re going to have a great time if you think ahead to prepare yourself for your shifts. Costumes encouraged. Positive mental attitude a must!
The Volunteer Agreement outlines the engagement and expectation on you, as a confirmed participant. We utilize a payment gateway that securely stores your details which are held until successful completion of your allocated shifts. A nominal, non-refundable fee is processed so that we have your details and in the unlikely event you do not complete your shifts or break the terms & conditions of the event, or the Agreement, you will be charged the full price of an event ticket plus a $100 administrative fee.
Please email Volunteer Support at [email protected] for further info if you have any queries.
All punters will require a General Admission ticket to gain entry to the festival. Extras are available for purchase. These include Early Access Passes, Parking Passes and Camper/Caravan Passes.
It’s recommended but not required prior to buying tickets.
It’s a super quick process! Visit our socials to find out how.
If you already have a Ticketmaster account, we suggest getting the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. Remember to triple-check your passwords, delivery address, and billing information now, so you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order. Log into your account to get started.
Pre-sale tickets are the same price as general release however, signing up for pre-sale access gives you the best chance at securing your tickets ahead of the masses.
You should definitely come. Add on an “Early Access Pass” to your festival ticket. This pass allows you to enter the festival early, from Thursday at 2pm where your GA ticket only allows access to the festival from Friday at 8:00am. Alleviate the rush, meet your mates and get first dibs on the best campsite location.
All good! These won’t be posted to you, but you’ll be able to scan in these extras using your phone upon arrival at UNIFY – directly from your Ticketmaster account, just like a normal online ticket. Your Collector’s Ticket is only your GA ticket.
As well as this, our team can easily help you with this upon your arrival at the festival too.
If you have already found a buyer for your ticket but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘make my listing private’ option at the final step.
Whilst we try to make our festival as accessible as possible, the event takes place on a farm with undulating grounds. We recommend that those with limited mobility attend with a carer and or motorised wheelchair to get around. All toilet areas are equipped with an accessible toilet. We also have a viewing deck with accessible ramp close to the stage. For additional information, please contact [email protected] to speak to the team about the festival site.
Unify Gathering along with our friends at Ticketmaster are proud to be an affiliate of the Victorian Companion Card Company. Companion Card promotes the right of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at Victorian events and venues. Please contact Ticketmaster directly to organise your companion ticket.
Yes, the festival has short term parking available for those who are getting dropped off. You will need to enter the green gate, get your tickets scanned and wristbanded. If you do not have a carpass, you will be directed to the short term parking / drop off area in order to unload your stuff and have your driver carry on.
Sorry, no can do. You’re in it for the long haul. UNIFY is a 3 day, 2 night camping festival with your ticket providing access to the grounds Friday – Sunday. We encourage those who wish to attend but cannot stay the entire time buy a ticket and join us for as long as you can to enjoy your favourite bands.
We recommend arriving prior to 8 pm on Friday night to ensure a smooth entry as our festival gates are operational until this time. If you are scheduled to arrive later than 8 pm, please email [email protected] to discuss your arrival options.
Whilst we believe our community is a great bunch of humans, we can’t guarantee that things won’t go missing. If you’re driving, perhaps locking important belongings in your car could be an option, or keeping them on you at all times. The festival assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Sure does! As long as your vehicle can support camping with a tent attachments, rooftop tents and or awnings, this qualifies for the camper-van camping pass. Please note that due to permit restrictions, camping on the ground is not permitted in this area.
Not this year. All tickets are sold separately to give you the ease of choice. The merch range will be released in the near future, allowing you to purchase the exclusive online range. Secure your ticket first.
Due to safety and permit restrictions – no ground-dwelling tents are permitted in the caravan camping area. All ground-dwelling tents must camp in the GA area.
We recommend your mates finding a campsite nearby.
This year we are not in a position to offer discounted tickets to the festival. The cancellation of music events due to the coronavirus has hit the Australian music industry hard across the board. Sadly insurance companies refuse to cover COVID-19 cancellations, so your support in buying a ticket is a way to keep the music scene we know and love alive. We understand that this pandemic has impacted everyone. If purchasing a ticket is outside of your budget – we encourage you to sign up to volunteer in exchange for entry to the festival. Volunteer applications will open soon.
You will require 2 passes in order to keep both vehicles within the space. This helps us account for the amount of space available within the festival campervan area. Space is limited.
The festival has a no refund policy unless otherwise stated in our terms and conditions, or required by law. There will be no refunds for change of mind. Our refund policy for COVID-19 related postponements or cancellations is set out as stated in our terms and conditions.
In the unlikely event that the festival is entirely cancelled and does not proceed due to Covid-19 related government restrictions, you will be guaranteed a refund of 100% of the amount paid for your ticket.
If the festival is unable to take place on 20 – 23 January 2022 due to Covid-19 related government restrictions, the festival will be postponed to 10 – 13 March 2022. Your tickets will automatically be valid for the March dates. Please ensure you are able to attend both dates prior to purchasing as no refunds will be offered if the festival is rescheduled to the March dates unless required by law. Re-sale options will also be available for you to forward/sell your ticket to someone else.
If you cannot travel, (or foresee that you will not be able to travel) to or attend UNIFY due to national or state government restrictions, we will offer a refund in certain circumstances. If impacted, you can proactively request a ticket refund on or before 30 December 2021 (unless the event is postponed, in which case, on or before 17 February 2022). After this date, any requests will be considered at our discretion as we know that circumstances can change quickly. Any updates to this refund policy will be communicated online and via social media channels of UNIFY Gathering Festival.
Your details given at the time of purchase (such as your address) will be used to determine if you’re eligible for a refund and we may also ask for additional information or documentation.

Yes. UNIFY Forever will unfortunately not be going ahead in January and will instead take place on our previously announced back-up weekend of Thursday 10 March to Sunday 13 March 2022.
All tickets remain valid for the March dates and we are stoked that we have been able to keep the vast majority of line-up intact.
We appreciate all your support and patience during this time and sincerely thank all the staff, agents, managers, artists, venue and crew who have worked tirelessly on UNIFY Forever to try and make it happen. Hang in there everyone. Bring on March!
If you have already found a buyer for your ticket but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘make my listing private’ option at the final step.
When we originally announced UNIFY, we made a contingency plan for postponement of the festival by announcing our March back-up dates in advance and we asked everyone to make sure they were able to attend both dates prior to purchasing tickets. Given this, and as set out in our terms and conditions (available here: www.unifygathering.com/terms-conditions), unfortunately refunds are not available for a change of mind in respect of the March dates.
